Dr. Aylin Farandzha is an angiologist. She has graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2016, and became a part of the team of the Vascular Surgery and Angiology Clinic at Acibadem City Clinic UMBAL Tokuda. From 2017 to 2022 Dr Farandzha specialized there in angiology at the Angiology Clinic, .Since January 2023, she is a specialist in angiology at Achibadem City Clinic UMBAL Mladost. She has conducted international IFMSA professional internships in Lebanon, Russia, Brazil, as well as an IUA course in the Czech Republic.
Dr. Farandzha performs color-coded duplex sonography/echo-Doppler, prevention, diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of vascular diseases such as stenoses, thrombosis, embolisms, aneurysms, etc. The subject of her specialty angiology (vascular medicine) are varicose (dilated) veins, superficial thrombophlebitis, deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary thromboembolism, acute and chronic arterial insufficiency of the extremities, aneurysms, carotid and vertebral pathologies, vascular complications in oncology, lymphedema of upper and lower extremities, anticoagulant prophylaxis and therapy, and COVID-19-associated vascular thrombosis.
Dr. Farandzha annually participates in Bulgarian and international congresses in the field of angiology, phlebology, lymphology, vascular surgery, neurosonology and ultrasound in medicine. Author and co-author of scientific works and publications in Bulgarian and international journals.
From July 2017 to December 2022, she is a full-time specialist in angiology at the Angiology Clinic, Achibadem City Clinic UMBAL Tokuda, Sofia
From December 2018 to December 2022, she is a doctor in the Department of Angiology, Achibadem City Clinic DCC Tokuda, Sofia
From January 2023 to the present, Dr. Ferenge is a specialist angiologist at Acibadem City Clinic DCC Mladost
