Gynecologist
Dr. Emil Zhelyazkov is a gynecologist and an obstetrician with over 30 years of professional experience. Dr. Zhelyazkov received his degree from the Medical University of Sofia in 1994 and obtained his specialty in obstetrics and gynecology in 1998 after specialization at the University Hospital for Active Treatment in Obstetrics and Gynecology “Maichin Dom”. Нe also has a Master's degree in Public Health and Health Management.
Dr. Zhelyazkov conducts gynecological examinations that include ultrasound and mammographic diagnostics, colposcopy and pregnancy monitoring, among others. From 1995 to the present, he has been working as gynecologist and an obstetrician at the II Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment (MBAL) – Sofia, and since 2016 he has been the manager of said institution.
Dr. Zhelyazkov has also successfully completed a number of medical courses, including on ultrasound diagnostics, mammographic/echographic examination and colposcopy.
Dr. Emil Zhelyazkov has been part of the Preventica Medical Center team since 2022.
