Dr. Plamen Dunev is a cardiologist. He treats and diagnoses cardiovascular diseases - arterial hypertension, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, rhythm disturbances, lipid metabolic disorders, hereditary disorders in lipid metabolism and blood coagulation, preventive cardiology, vascular pathology. He has participated in a number of cardiological clinical studies. Co-author of articles on cardiology and clinical lipidology in Bulgarian and foreign magazines. Lecturer at medical sciences congresses.
Dr. Dunev graduated with honors from MU-Plovdiv in 2011. He acquired a Cardiology specialty in 2018 at MU-Sofia. In 2022, he finalized his specialty in clinical lipidology after passing an exam atNational Lipid Association, accredited by the American Board Exam, USA. 2022, he got his master's degree in Public Health and Health Management. He is licensed in the field of interventional cardiology, electrocardiac stimulation, echocardiography and ultrasound vascular diagnostics. He has conducted number of trainings in university clinics in Austria. From 2018 to 2020, he was a full-time lecturer at the Department of Internal Medicine at the Sofia University.
From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Dunev worked at the National Cardiology Hospital in Sofia.
From 2015 to 2020, he practiced in the cardiology clinic of UMBAL Aleksandrovska, Sofia.
From 2018 to 2020, Dr. Dunev is an assistant and teaches medical students and junior doctors at Medical University - Sofia.
Since 2022, Dr. Dunev has been part of Preventica's team of specialists.
